Just got home from Kitty's engagement partayyyy :) There was lobster, steak, veggies, mashed potatos, salad, fruits, and "orgasmic olives" (you're welcome Janet). I made three batches of my favorite peanut butter cookies- and this time it's topped with butterscotch chips, which actually tastes delicious! Can't believe that I learned to bake- well, I guess I took something out of the last relationship. (something)
Anyway, I'm super happy for the two lovebirds, and seeing how everyone is leaning towards the whole "let's get married" situation makes me think that I should get looking. The little voice in my head's screaming "CONFORM WYNNE!!" - Then again the other little voice is reminding me that there's no rush.
Too many weddings... Including the one that I just attended last week; it'll increase the number to five, and yes FIVE weddings is a lot. I haven't seen Zee for such a long time either; since she's left for Japan for two years... I'm glad that she's back - we laugh a lot together... She's the type of friend that you don't need to talk to everyday, because when you see her you'll feel that she never left. For instance, just the other day as I took the streetcar home from work I bumped into someone that I haven't seen in the longest time. Not only have I not seen her in a long time, but at the strangest place and time. It was 8pm that night, and everyone had already gone home, but I stayed late, so it was pure coincidence that I bumped into her. We instantly chatted and caught up with each other as if all that time apart never existed. That's how I felt with everyone tonight at Kitty's engagment tonight :) Right time at the right place with the right people - great conversations, and a couple bottles of wine.
Thanks again to Kitty for the wonderful evening, and it's okay to be godzilla bride ;) I'll still love you.
